St. Joseph, Michigan, has a rich history that dates back to the early 19th century. Originally inhabited by Native American tribes, the area was explored by Europeans in the 1600s. The historical Silver Beach Carousel is a must see when visiting St. Joseph. The current carousel has been spinning around since 2010, but the vision came to life in 1910. Louis Wallace and Logan Drake added the attraction to their Silver Beach Amusement Park over 100 years ago. 

Throughout the 20th century, St. Joseph continued to thrive as a tourist destination, known for its charming downtown, vibrant arts scene, and recreational opportunities along the lake. Today, it retains its historical charm while offering modern amenities, making it a beloved spot for both residents and visitors.
